Glazed porcelain tea cup in unusual celadon glaze. Celadon was introduced to Japan as early as the 10th century and was highly prized by the aristocracy for its "secret color," or hisoku, a mysterious blue-green hue. Taisho Period (1912-1926). Repaired with urushi and 24k gold.
